So I created CATU because I was tired of beauty feeling complicated, heavy, or artificial. I wanted something natural, creative, expressive - without damaging my nails or the planet.

CATU comes from Brazilian TUPI word that means “good”, “beautiful”. And that’s exactly what these products should bring - something good into your day.
I’ve always loved nails as a simple way to express mood and style. But in real life, I wanted something easier: quick, practical, and not something that costs a salon appointment (or a chunk of my hard-earned money) every time.
